Chennai: The Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin has announced that the Tamil Pudhalvan scheme project will commence in August.
Under this scheme, students studying in government schools and enrolled in colleges will receive Rs 1,000 per month, which will be credited directly to their bank accounts.
Speaking at a grand function organized by the School Education Department, Chief Minister Stalin stated, "Starting from August, college students will receive Rs 1,000 in assistance under the Tamil Pudhalvan scheme. My ambition is for the students of Tamil Nadu to grow and compete on a global level. Many have praised the innovative women's program, and 16 lakh students are benefiting from the breakfast scheme.
Today, we are launching 21,000 smart classes in schools, with 600 smart classes starting today. Education is the one thing that no one can take away from you.
Scientific advancements have increased, and the development of artificial intelligence has become a significant topic of discussion. Tamil Nadu was the first state to oppose NEET, and we will make a decision on this exam soon. The NEET examination is a betrayal of our education system."
