New Delhi: As artificial intelligence continues to reshape workplaces, Ryan Roslansky has said that human-centric skills are gaining greater importance in the AI-driven era.
Curiosity
Roslansky said curiosity enables individuals to continuously learn and adapt in a rapidly evolving technological landscape, helping them stay relevant as AI transforms job roles.
Communication
He emphasised that clear communication is becoming more valuable as AI handles routine tasks, allowing professionals to focus on collaboration, idea-sharing and teamwork.
Courage
Highlighting the need for courage, he said individuals must be willing to take risks, make decisions and navigate uncertainty as workplaces undergo significant change due to AI adoption.
Compassion
Compassion and emotional intelligence, he noted, remain uniquely human traits that are critical in building relationships, resolving conflicts and leading teams effectively.
Drawing on data from LinkedIn, Roslansky said jobs should increasingly be viewed as a set of tasks — some automated, some augmented by AI, and others that require distinctly human capabilities.
He added that the growing emphasis on these skills, alongside AI, presents an opportunity to build a more balanced and positive future of work.
