Chennai: The Government College of Architecture and Sculpture, Mamallapuram, functioning under the Department of Art and Culture, Tamil Nadu, has invited applications for admission to undergraduate degree courses for the academic year 2026-27.

According to the notification, applications have been invited for the following programmes:

Bachelor Degree in Traditional Architecture (BTech Degree in Traditional Architecture)
Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) Degree in Traditional Sculpture
Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) Degree in Traditional Drawing and Painting

Candidates seeking admission to the Traditional Architecture course should have passed Plus Two or equivalent examination with Mathematics as a subject.

For admission to the Traditional Sculpture and Traditional Drawing and Painting courses, candidates should have passed the Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent.

Applicants must have completed 17 years of age as on July 1, 2026. The upper age limit is 26 years for general category candidates and 23 years for BC, MBC and DNC candidates. There is no age limit for SC/ST candidates.

The application fee has been fixed at Rs. 250 for SC/ST candidates and Rs. 500 for other categories.

Applications can be downloaded from the official website of the Department of Art and Culture, Tamil Nadu. The last date for submission of applications is June 30, 2026.

Applicants have been instructed to send the filled-in applications along with necessary documents and fee payment details to: The Principal, Government College of Architecture and Sculpture, Mamallapuram - 603104.

The notification also provided bank details for remittance of application fee through online transfer to the State Bank of India account of the institution.
