Delhi: Global accounting exam prep major Becker has entered into an exclusive partnership with Simandhar Education to deliver its Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and Certified Management Accountant (CMA) review courses in India, aiming to cater to the surging demand for globally certified accounting professionals in the country.

Under the agreement, Hyderabad-headquartered Simandhar Education, a leading provider of training for international finance credentials, will become Becker's sole partner in India for its CPA and CMA programmes.

The collaboration combines Becker's internationally recognised courseware and AI-enabled study tools with Simandhar's live classes, local faculty, mentorship and placement assistance.

The partnership comes amid a sharp increase in the number of licensed CPAs in India — which has surged over 450 per cent since 2020 — fuelled by the adoption of global accounting standards and growing presence of multinational companies.

Students enrolling under the new alliance will have access to Becker's curated textbooks, adaptive learning systems, unlimited practice examinations and personalised study planners integrated within Simandhar's training ecosystem.

Simandhar will additionally offer mentoring, industry-specific workshops and placement support with leading firms, including the Big Four.
