Chennai: The Directorate of Elementary Education (DEE) has announced the results of the May-June 2026 Elementary Education Diploma examinations for first- and second-year teacher training students and private candidates.

The results can be accessed from the respective teacher education training institutions by candidates who appeared for the examinations. The results were made available from the afternoon of August 12, according to an official release.

Candidates seeking scanned copies of their answer scripts can download the application form by visiting the official Directorate of Government Examinations website, www.dge.tn.gov.in, and clicking on the “DEE EXAM MAY / JUNE 2026 - Scan Copy” link.

The completed applications, along with the prescribed fee, should be submitted in person at the concerned District Institute of Education and Training (DIET) or District Teacher Education and Training Institute between 11 am on August 14 and 5 pm on August 20, excluding government holidays and Sundays.

Applications sent by post will not be accepted, the department said.

The fee for obtaining a scanned copy of an answer script is Rs 275 per subject. Candidates can pay the prescribed fee and submit their applications at the District Teacher Education and Training Institute located near their place of residence.

The department further said that only candidates who apply for scanned copies of their answer scripts will subsequently be eligible to apply for re-totalling and revaluation. A separate notification regarding the re-totalling and revaluation process will be issued later.

The notification was issued from Chennai on August 12 by the Director of the Directorate of Elementary Education.
