Chennai: The written examination for the District Education Officer (Group - 1 C Services) is being held on November 21 and 22, 2023, in Chennai. The examination comprises four papers, including Tamil, General Studies I, General Studies II, and Education.A total of 98 candidates, consisting of 54 males and 44 females, have been admitted for the examination. The examination will be conducted exclusively at the Chennai center. Out of the 11 candidates to be selected, 9 will be from the 'Open Market,' and 2 will be from recognized aided Secondary and Higher Secondary schools.The Tamil Nadu School Education Service had earlier invited applications, with the deadline set for January 13, 2023.
