A poem in Tamil goes like this , after seeing a peacock show off its beautiful wings and feathers, a chicken too tried the same……..but then the chicken felt embarrassed as its wings and feathers had nothing show in terms of colour or beauty.  Likewise, it is very important not do take up entrepreneurship since  ‘X’ is doing or ‘ Y’ is doing or even joblessness should not be a  driving factor for  taking up entrepreneurship. It will lead to only losses.

To be free is the dream of everyone of all age groups and at all times.  Freedom is ability to take confident decisions, independency in thinking, independency in action, choosing a career path of one’s desire and the ability to face both success and failures without any fear. Such persons alone can blend into successful entrepreneur.

They do not crumble or crash when struck by gentle breeze or a small problem……. They are capable of withstanding any sort of pressures like Palmira trees. 

Challenges:

Entrepreneurs face many challenges like market competitions, customer’s expectations, government’s protocols, and sudden change of rules.  Today,most of the entrepreneurs are too hasty…..they want to become big business honchos in very short span of time.

Today, customers’ desires and selections are changing in an unpredictable manner. In this scenario, everyone reflects about whether this spending trend would continue or not?   Will all business flourish? Will the customers be happy? Can we take chances of continuing the business?

Hard work:

Business is just not to invest and relax. Sometimes it will take more time get back the profit. It is very important not to lose hope at this point but keep striving hard without losing the zeal.  When comparing with other states, our entrepreneurs get really astonished. Seeing them, our students take up studies and show interest only to get a job.   Reason behind this that lack of family back up or unable to back up.

Further, those who plan carry out business only with loan and grants obtained from the government do not succeed.

Entrepreneurs should constantly encourage themselves and encourage others. Being an entrepreneur is like meditating with eyes open. All those who are alert like this are able to face challenges. In times of eventuality, entrepreneurs need to take swift decision depending on the issue.Those who do not possess such skills keep advisers to help them with crucial advices.

Needed Skills:

Some qualities needed to be successful entrepreneur is undergo training on means to stay successful as a businessman, read business related journals

and magazines, become a member in a business association, participate in the meeting held by the association and always  have close watch over competitors.

Working with hope that correct operations will dispel all hurdles that come on the way.  To those who can accept the fact that certain things are beyond control and cannot be changed and bringing out changes in thinks that could be changed, success is certain.  Though circumstance may be threatening and not favorable complete the task. Strength will come automatically.
