Chennai: The Tamil Nadu Government announced students who passed Class X Public Examinations can now register their names with the employment exchange within the school premises.

State Labour Minister T M Anbarasan said the respective school principals shall check the student’s SSLC certificate, caste certificate and transfer certificate and send the completed applications with the school seal to the employment exchange concerned.

The initiative is being undertaken in cooperation with the State Education Department for the benefit of the student community.

Within a week, the employment identity cards will be issued to the students in their schools.
