New Delhi: The Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2026 has concluded across the country, with the examination conducted by Indian Institute of Technology Guwahati on February 7, 8, 14 and 15.

The national-level exam covered all 30 subject papers and was held in two shifts each day at multiple centres nationwide.

IIT Guwahati has announced that the results will be declared on March 19, 2026. Candidates will be able to access their results on the GOAPS portal (gate2026.iitg.ac.in)using their enrolment ID and password. Scorecards will indicate marks obtained, qualifying status and paper-wise cut-offs.

The provisional answer key is expected to be released by the end of February, after which candidates will be allowed to raise objections within a stipulated deadline.

Scorecards can be downloaded free of cost from March 27 to May 31, 2026. GATE scores are used for admissions to MTech programmes in premier institutes and recruitment in Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs).
