Chennai: Great Lakes Institute of Management in collaboration with Analytics India Magazine presented Great Lakes Data Science Excellence Awards to recognize pioneers in the Indian Data Analytics industry.

The award ceremony was held at Bangalore as a finale of the 2nd edition of Cypher 2016, India’s largest analytics summit.

The awards were bestowed for 5 different categories.

While bridge i2i and Cartesian Consulting won the award under the category ‘Best Boutique Analytics Firm’, the “Best Data Science Project” award was bagged by Brillio, Happiest Minds and TCS. The Award under third category, “Emerging Analytics Product Startup” was taken away by

Lead Semantics, followed byG-square Solutions which won the award under the  fourth category, “Emerging Analytics Services Startup’’.Lastly, eClerx and YES Bank emerged as the winners for the award “Most Admired Data Science Project of the Year”.

The selection of awardees was done by a committee of Great Lakes analytics faculty and Industry experts in analytics and was based on the write up and other collaterals submitted by the companies.
