Gurugram: Gurugram University will introduce 14 new courses from the 2026-27 academic session in line with the National Education Policy (NEP), officials said on Saturday.

The initiative aims to provide students with modern, multidisciplinary and job-oriented education to give a new direction to their careers, they said.

Vice Chancellor Sanjay Kaushik said the university is consistently prioritising innovation and quality in education and, as part of the effort, the new courses will be introduced from the upcoming session.

The courses to be introduced include MBA (Executive), Bachelor of Management Studies (Industry Integrated-Travel and Tourism), MSc Life Sciences (Integrated), BSc (Hons) Clinical Psychology (RCI-approved), Professional Diploma in Clinical Psychology (RCI-approved), Post Graduate Diploma in Educational Management and Leadership (PGDEML), and Post Graduate Diploma in Information and Communication Technology and Artificial Intelligence in Education (PGDICTAI), Kaushik said.

The university will also offer Bachelor of Commerce (Global), MA Theatre Studies, MSc Forensic Science, MSc Geography, MA Sociology, MA History and MSc Disaster Management, he added.

Kaushik said the programmes have been designed to provide students with practical knowledge, research opportunities and skills aligned with global competition.

He also said the admission process for undergraduate courses has already commenced and interested students can apply online through the university's official website till May 30.
