Chennai: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Bangalore has announced the introduction of full-time B.Sc. programmes in Data Science and Economics for the academic year 2026-27.

Applications for the courses are open until November 20 and can be submitted online at cdn.digialm.com/EForms/configuredHtml/1345/96226/Registration.html.

The entrance examination is scheduled for December 12, followed by interviews for shortlisted candidates in January 2026. Final results will be declared on February 28.

Eligible candidates must have secured at least 60 per cent in Mathematics in both the Class 10 and Class 12 examinations. The new programmes aim to strengthen IIM Bangalore's undergraduate offerings and provide students with robust training in emerging fields of data analytics and economic studies.
