Bengaluru: In a significant stride towards gender diversity, the Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) has reported a 100% increase in women's enrolment for its two-year Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP).

Women now make up 26% of the current cohort, compared to just 13% in previous batches.

The growth follows targeted efforts by IIM Kozhikode to enhance inclusivity and expand leadership education for working professionals.

Speaking at a masterclass on 'Mindful Leadership' in Bengaluru, IIMK Director Prof. Debashis Chatterjee celebrated the milestone and highlighted the programme's focus on accessible, practical learning.

Ranked second among IIMs and 22nd in Asia-Pacific in the QS Executive MBA Rankings 2025, IIMK's EPGP continues to attract mid-career professionals from across India's major cities.

The share of urban learners rose from 51% to 67% over recent batches, and enrolment from non-engineering backgrounds reached 25%, signalling broader appeal.

Prof. Chatterjee unveiled his new book '1 Minute Wisdom' at the event and reaffirmed the institute's commitment to nurturing diverse leadership talent.

Admissions are now open for the 18th EPGP batch, offering a blend of core management subjects, electives, global immersions and industry exposure.
