Udaipur: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Udaipur conferred diplomas to 63 students of its Post Graduate Diploma in Business Administration for Working Executives (PGDBA-WE) Batch of 2023-25 at a convocation ceremony held on July 19 at its Balicha campus.

FedEx's MEISA CHRO and Executive Committee Member Sumit Neogi delivered the Convocation Address, drawing on personal leadership experiences to share insights on humility, credibility, and purpose. He emphasised the importance of authenticity and the "24-48 Principle"—framing policy from ground realities, not boardrooms.

The gold medal for scholastic performance was awarded to Rahatul Ashafeen.

IIM Udaipur Director Prof. Ashok Banerjee, in his concluding address, highlighted the institute's achievements, including its continued presence in the Financial Times and QS Global rankings and the extension of its AACSB accreditation. He also cited expansion through a PPP model—making IIMU the first IIM to adopt this.

He urged the graduating class to lead with integrity and aim to be job creators.

Founded in 2011, IIM Udaipur is among India's youngest globally ranked B-schools, recognised for research excellence and consistent international rankings.
