New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi has opened admissions for the second batch of its Online Post Graduate Diploma in Advanced Communication Engineering with Quantum and AI Integration, aimed at building expertise in next-generation telecom and secure communication systems.

Offered by the Bharti School of Telecommunication Technology and Management, the 12-month live online programme integrates artificial intelligence, quantum networking and advanced wireless communications.

The course includes 27 academic credits across two semesters and covers areas such as machine learning for network optimisation, quantum communication protocols, software-defined radios and secure networking. It prepares participants for roles including quantum communication engineers, AI and machine learning specialists, 5G/6G network engineers and cybersecurity professionals.

The programme comprises over 360 hours of learning, including a capstone project, assignments and campus immersion at IIT Delhi. It is open to graduates in engineering, science, mathematics and related fields, including working professionals.

The institute said the programme aims to equip learners with skills to address emerging challenges in telecom, AI-driven systems and quantum-secure communications.
