Chennai: The online application process for the second phase of the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main has begun, offering students another opportunity to seek admission to undergraduate courses in central higher education institutions.

The JEE is mandatory for entry into institutions such as the Indian Institutes of Technology (IITs) and National Institutes of Technology (NITs) and is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA) in two phases.

The first phase of JEE Main was held from January 21 to January 30, and the results are scheduled to be released soon.

The second phase of the examination will be conducted from April 1 to April 9. Interested candidates can apply online for this session till the 25th through the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.

Candidates who appeared for the first phase are also eligible to appear for the second phase.
