Coimbatore: Students of Jeevan's School, Karumbukkadai, have qualified for the semi-finals of the quiz competition, jointly organized by Dinamalar daily's student edition Pattam and SNS Educational Group.

The quiz series, initiated by Dinamalar to promote learning interest and intellectual engagement among students, aims to develop critical thinking and general knowledge. This year, Sathya Agencies and Sports Land have partnered as gift sponsors.

More than 150 schools from Coimbatore, Tiruppur, and Nilgiris districts are participating in the event. Teams that top the school-level rounds qualify for the semi-finals, with eight finalists competing for the championship and prizes.

At the school-level contest held at Karumbukkadai Jeevans School, 180 students participated in the preliminary round. The top 16 scorers were divided into eight teams for the finals.

After three competitive rounds, Team 'I'—comprising Arjumanth Inaya (Class 8) and Apsheen Riya (Class 9)—emerged winners and secured their place in the semi-finals. Both students received special prizes for their achievement.

School Principal Sivakumaran congratulated all finalists and presented medals and certificates to encourage their participation.
