At a state cabinet meeting yesterday, chaired by Chief Minister Raghubar Das, an amount of Rs 198.86 crore was approved for their expenditure towards setting up the centres.
A sum of Rs. 66.286 crore had been approved for release to set up one centre of excellence and five technical skill development institutes in 2016/17.
