Bhopal: Bhopal Archbishop Leo Cornelio said the JNU issue is being politicised and asked the Centre to set up an all-party committee for facilitating unbiased investigation.

"Central government should form an all-party committee so that the unbiased investigation can be made and truth comes out before the people at earliest. It has been seen that this problem is being politicised," Cornelio said in a statement.

Observing that there is nothing important than country, he said, "At this time the country must come together for peace and harmony".

Cornelio also expressed concern over the Jat reservation agitation which sparked violence in many parts of Haryana and appealed to the community to maintain peace and non-violence.

He said the problem of Jat agitation could be solved by the discussions.

"This movement is spoiling the image of the country on the national as well as international level. This agitation is destabilising the peace and harmony in the country. This matter can be solved by Central as well as state governments by taking suitable measures," he said.
