New Delhi: Admit cards for the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test (NEET-UG) for admission to undergraduate medical courses were released on Sunday night, ahead of the scheduled time.

The NEET-UG examination, conducted for admission to courses such as MBBS, BDS and Siddha, is slated to be held on May 3.

Around 28 lakh candidates are expected to appear for the examination across the country, including about two lakh applicants from Tamil Nadu.

The admit cards were earlier scheduled to be released at 10 am on Monday. However, the download link was activated in advance on Sunday night, allowing candidates to access their hall tickets earlier than announced.

Candidates can download their admit cards from the official website (neet.nta.nic.in) using their application number and password, the National Testing Agency (NTA) said.
