The computer based online examination is to be held both forenoon and afternoon on 14, June, 2021 in around 90 towns and cities across India.
NEST is a mandatory entrance examination towards admission to basic science programmes like Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics at NISER- Bhubaneswar and Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Science, University of Mumbai
Both these institutions are autonomous intuitions functioning under the purview of the Department of Atomic Research, Government of India.
Online portal to apply will open on Feb 24 and close on April 30.
Results will be announced on June 30.
Candidates admitted to any of the programme are eligible to receive annual scholarship of Rs 60, 000/-.
To apply and for more details on Nest-2021 visit www.nestexam.in, an official notification said.
