Delhi: Nottingham Trent University (NTU) has announced merit-based scholarships for Indian students enrolling in January 2026, offering tuition fee discounts of up to 50% for postgraduate programmes.

The awards include the India Prestigious University Award (up to £4,000), NTU International Merit Scholarships (£3,000), and the NTU International Scholarship (£2,000).

NTU, ranked first in the UK for employability (Uni Compare 2025), integrates over 240 hours of industry experience into every undergraduate degree and partners with more than 2,000 companies worldwide for professional placements and paid internships. Its Employability Promise guarantees paid placements for graduates not employed or in further study within 12 months of graduation.

Anna Audhali, Senior Regional Manager at NTU, said: “These scholarships make world-class education more accessible for Indian students. Combined with NTU's focus on employability, they provide both academic excellence and career-ready skills.”

Indian students can choose from programmes across Business, Technology, Art and Design, Architecture, and Social Sciences, with opportunities for professional placements and global collaborations. Applicants must have an offer to study in January 2026, with the scholarship application closing on 12 November 2025, 16:00 GMT.

Last year, NTU awarded over 1,300 scholarships to students from more than 80 countries. India represents the largest international student community at NTU, growing by 114% over the past five years.

NTU is recognized among the UK's top modern universities, with multiple accolades for teaching, research, sustainability, and student experience, including GOLD in the Teaching Excellence Framework and ranking as the most environmentally sustainable university in the UK.
