The last date to submit application is 9, August, 2021.

Candidates will be selected through a National Level Entrance Examination conducted by National Testing Agency (NTA).

The computer based entrance examination will be of two hours and is scheduled to be held on 29, August 2021.

IIMC offers variety of disciplines including print journalism, photo journalism, radio journalism, television journalism, development communication, communication research, advertising and public relations.

The IIMC is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting inaugurated in the year 1965.

Apart from English and Hindi, the entrance examination is also conducted in four regional languages such as Marathi, Odia, Malayalam and Urdu  in the afternoon same day.
