New Delhi: Smartphone maker OPPO on Thursday launched the Reno14 5G Diwali Edition in India, featuring the industry's first heat-sensitive colour-changing technology for the domestic market and a festive design inspired by Indian cultural motifs.

Priced at ₹39,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant, the special edition device is available at a festive price of ₹36,999 across OPPO e-store, Flipkart, Amazon and retail outlets, the company said in a statement.

The smartphone's design integrates motifs such as a mandala, peacock and flame-shaped accents, symbolising harmony, prosperity and the triumph of light over darkness. Its GlowShift Technology allows the back panel to change from deep black to radiant gold at body temperature, enabled through a nine-layer lamination process.

The Reno14 Diwali Edition comes with a 6.59-inch AMOLED display, MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor, 6000mAh battery with 80W fast charging and ColorOS 15 with AI features. It is equipped with a quad-camera setup including a 50MP main sensor, 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, 8MP ultra-wide and 50MP selfie camera.

The device also features an aerospace-grade aluminium frame, Gorilla Glass 7i, and IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance.

Festive offers include cashback up to ₹3,000, no-cost EMI schemes, exchange bonuses, extended warranty and prize giveaways, including cash prizes up to ₹10 lakh and OPPO products.
