Chennai: DOT School of Design hosted its flagship event, Design Confluence 2025, at the Hyatt Regency, Chennai, bringing together over 80 graduating students, 50+ recruiters, and 12 original fashion collections in a grand showcase of talent and industry integration.

The day-long event blended education, employment, and expression with three key segments: a formal convocation, a large-scale placement drive, and a high-energy fashion show. Degrees were awarded across disciplines including Visual Arts, Fashion Design, Communication Design, Interior Design, and Industrial Design. Fourteen students were recognised as 'Young Achievers' for academic excellence and innovation.

The convocation ceremony featured distinguished guests such as KV Ramani, Chancellor of Sai University; Sekhar Mukherjee, former Director of NID Andhra Pradesh; CK Kumaravel of Naturals Salon; and StartupTN's Nikunj Panchal, among others.

Simultaneously, DOT Career Connect facilitated recruitment interactions with leading companies across design, fashion, tech, and media sectors, offering full-time and internship opportunities. Faculty highlighted the drive as part of DOT's commitment to ensuring industry-ready graduates.

The evening saw Spotlight 2025, a graduation fashion runway directed by Karun Raman and hosted by Swapna. Twelve fashion graduates presented individual collections, with a special Spring-Summer 2025 showcase by Derby Jeans Community in partnership with the Tamil Nadu Model Association.

The event was supported by Thangamayil (Title Sponsor), Boom Cars (Powered By), Naturals (Grooming Partner), and others. Faculty noted the event as a platform merging talent, opportunity, and celebration—reflecting the growing impact of design education in Tamil Nadu.
