Bhopal: Madhya Pradesh Governor and Chancellor Ram Naresh Yadav today appointed Professor Ramesh Chandra Panda as Vice Chancellor of the Maharishi Panini Sanskrit Evam Vedic Vishwavidyalaya in Ujjain.
Presently, Professor Panda serves as Banaras Hindu University's (BHU) Head of the Department of Grammar, Sanskriti Learning and Theology, an official statement said.
His term would last four years from the date of his assuming charge, it said.
