Chennai: The Tamil Nadu Association of Training and Placement Officers (TNATPO) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with StartupTN, Government of Tamil Nadu, becoming the first association in the state to formalize such a collaboration aimed at advancing innovation and entrepreneurship in educational institutions.
The agreement seeks to enhance cooperation in areas including internship, placement, startup outreach, and innovation, fostering stronger linkages between academia, industry, and government.
The MoU was signed in the presence of Dr. J. Jeyaranjan, Vice Chairman, State Planning Commission, and Thiru Sivarajah Ramanathan, Mission Director and CEO of StartupTN. The ceremony brought together industry leaders, innovators, and entrepreneurs from India and abroad, highlighting Tamil Nadu's growing global startup connect.
Calling the partnership a “transformative step” toward bridging academic talent with entrepreneurial ecosystems, Dr. Ganesh Krish, President, TNATPO, thanked StartupTN and the Government of Tamil Nadu for their continued support and visionary leadership.
TNATPO also participated actively in the Tamil Nadu Global Startup Summit 2025, reaffirming its commitment to nurturing innovation, entrepreneurship, and sustainable development through collaborative efforts among academia, startups, and industry networks.
