Announcing the formation of a vigilance committee Health Minister M R K Panneerselvam, the committee would take strict action against a college if a complaint was received. Those who want to make a complaint against any college can make a call to the Health Minister anjd and Director of Medical Education.

“We realise that some colleges violate the capitation fee rule and this will be investigated on the basis of a complaint by a three member committee. The government has strictly banned collection of capitation fees,’’ the minister Panneerselvam said.
