Puducherry: Pondicherry University Vice-Chancellor Prof. P. Prakash Babu on Tuesday called on Puducherry Lt Governor and Chief Rector of the university K. Kailashnathan at Raj Nivas.

Prof. Babu, who was recently appointed as Vice-Chancellor by President Droupadi Murmu in her capacity as the Visitor of Pondicherry University, assumed office on March 17. His appointment was made under Statute 1(A) of the Pondicherry University Act, 1985.
