Aspiring candidates are encouraged to apply through their respective school authorities by downloading the application form from www.dge.tn.gov.in between September 5 and September 20, 2023. The application deadline has been set for September 20, 2023.In an effort to promote the Tamil language's proficiency, the Tamil Nadu government has devised a scheme to identify and support talented students. The TN govt in effort to encourage the language skill of Tamil selects 1500 students with 50 per cent from govt schools and the other 50 per cent from govt schools as well as private schools to award Rs 1500/ for two years. Remarkably, this initiative is open to Class XI students from any recognized school, including those affiliated with CBSE and ICSE boards.The examination will consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and will adhere to Class X standards. To participate in this enriching opportunity, students are required to submit an examination fee of Rs 50.This initiative is to encourage linguistic excellence in Tamil.
