Chennai: A technical glitch in the EMIS portal has led to difficulties in uploading students' marks.

To digitally maintain data related to the School Education Department, details of students and teachers are stored through the EMIS website. The platform includes information such as students' academic records, marks, and scholarship details.

These records are monitored by officials at various levels, including district and state authorities, to ensure proper implementation and follow-up actions.

With the Assembly elections scheduled on the 23rd, the School Education Department has directed schools to upload students' marks on the EMIS portal before the deadline.

However, due to server-related issues over the past few days, teachers have been facing difficulties in uploading the marks, leading to widespread inconvenience.
