Chennai: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) announced that verification of original certificates for the post of Assistant Tourism Officer (Level II) will be conducted on September 25 at its office in Chennai.

The recruitment pertains to Notification No. 09/2024 dated July 26, 2024, under the Combined Technical Services (Non-Interview Posts) examination, the marks and rank list for which were released on February 20 this year, the Commission said in a release.

The list of provisional candidates shortlisted for certificate verification, based on marks, overall rank, reservation rules and vacancies, has been uploaded on the TNPSC website www.tnpsc.gov.in. Candidates can download their call letters containing details of the verification schedule.

Intimation will be sent only through SMS and e-mail, and no separate communication by post will be issued. Mere inclusion in the certificate verification list does not guarantee appointment, as final selection will depend on performance, eligibility, and availability of vacancies.

Candidates failing to appear for the certificate verification will not be given another opportunity, the release added.
