Chennai: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) has scheduled the Physical Certificate Verification-cum-Counselling for the post of Junior Draughting Officer in the Highways Department of Tamil Nadu Highways Engineering Subordinate Service on 22, Feb 2024, both in the forenoon and afternoon sessions, at the TNPSC office, according to a top TNPSC official. Earlier, TNPSC in its notifications (Nos. 5/2023, 5A/2023, and 5B/2023, dated 03, Feb 2023, 15, June 2023, and 30, Aug 2023, respectively invited applications for direct recruitment to the Junior Draughting Officer position. The written examination was conducted on 27, May 2023, and the results were published on 19, Sept 2023.The list of candidates provisionally admitted for the Physical Certificate Verification-cum-Counselling has been shortlisted is made available on the Commission’s website. Candidates are instructed to bring all original certificates supporting their claims made in their online applications.The Memorandum of Admission to Certificate Verification-cum-Counselling may be done from the TNPSC official website www.tnpsc.gov.in. Candidates will be notified through SMS and email. The Memorandum of Admission will not be sent by post.Failure to appear as per the allotted schedule will result in the loss of opportunity in the combined merit list, and no further chances will be provided.Candidates attending the Original Certificate Verification are not guaranteed admission to Counselling, said S Gopala Sundara Raj, Secretary, Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission.
