Chennai: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) on Friday issued a notification for the Combined Technical Services Examination (Diploma/Traineeship Level), 2025, to fill 1,910 vacancies for 58 posts including Technical Assistant (Electrical) in the Tamil Nadu Electricity Distribution Corporation.

According to an official release, candidates can submit their applications online from June 13 to July 12. The exam will be conducted in OMR/Computer-Based mode, adhering to the Commission's annual schedule for the 12th consecutive year.

The number of vacancies this year averages 1,910 per financial year (2025-2026), higher than the average of 1,011 vacancies filled in the previous notification which covered two financial years.

TNPSC further said that the number of posts may increase if additional requirements are received from government departments or institutions before the consultation stage. Candidates can also pay the examination fee via UPI.
