Chennai: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) will conduct the second phase of certificate verification and counselling for candidates selected under the Combined Technical Services Examination (Notification No. 11/2024) on June 20 and June 23, 2025, at its office in Chennai.
According to a release issued by the Commission on Tuesday, the marks and ranking details of candidates who appeared for the examination were published on the TNPSC website on March 28, 2025. Based on the overall ranking, reservation norms, and number of vacancies, a provisional list of candidates shortlisted for certificate verification and counselling has been made available on the Commission's official site.
Certificate verification and counselling will take place on June 20 for certain posts, while certificate verification alone is scheduled for June 23. The process will be held at TNPSC's headquarters, located near Broadway Bus Stand and Chennai Fort Railway Station.
The recruitment process pertains to posts including Assistant Inspector (1908), Technical Assistant (Electrical) (3550), Junior Technical Assistant (3375), Supervisor (Weaving) (3377), Laboratory Operator (3290), Technical Assistant (Lab) (3328), Draftsman Grade III (2114), Assistant Training Officer (English Shorthand) (1733), Hostel Superintendent-cum-Physical Training Officer (1731/3381), Assistant Agricultural Officer (3101), and several other technical roles across various disciplines.
Candidates have been informed to download their individual call letters — which include the date, time, and other details — from the Commission's website www.tnpsc.gov.in. Notifications will be sent via SMS and email; no hard copies will be sent by post.
The Commission has clarified that appearing for certificate verification or counselling does not guarantee an appointment. Final selection will depend on the marks obtained in the written examination, overall merit, reservation rules, and vacancy availability.
Candidates failing to attend the certificate verification and counselling sessions will not be given another opportunity, the release added.
