The three-day conference brought together academicians, industry leaders, researchers, students and practitioners from India and abroad to discuss ethical leadership, sustainability and responsible growth, particularly in emerging economies.

The conference was inaugurated by XLRI Director Fr George Sebastian, S.J., who said authentic leadership must be rooted in compassion, ethical judgment and integrity. Dean (Academics) Sanjay Patro and Fr Joseph Mathew, S.J., Chair of the JRD Tata Foundation for Business Ethics, welcomed the speakers.

A pre-conference panel on ethical and human-centred leadership featured Anil Sachdev, Vasanthi Srinivasan, Arup Varma, Joseph Marianus Kujur, S.J., Navi Radjou and Pritha Dutt.

Discussions were organised around leadership ethics, sustainable innovation and inclusive development. Speakers addressed issues such as frugal innovation, AI ethics, tribal economies, mental health, women's leadership and values-based management.

More than 100 research papers were received, of which 22 were presented. Best Abstract Awards were given to Arpita Sahu, Pankaj Kumar, Abhijit Roy, Anoushka Agnihotri and Amit Kumar Modak. Around 80 participants and eight invited speakers joined in hybrid mode.
