The Batu Caves in Kuala Lumpur, dedicated to Lord Murugan, celebrated the Navarathri Festival with a traditional Golu and daily special poojas. Despite some rain, devotees gathered to pray to the deities, seeking blessings for a prosperous year ahead. The poojas were completed with various forms of lamp aartis, including the Naga deepam, Mayura deepam, and the Vel and Seval Flag aartis, accompanied by the chanting of mantras. The festival also featured dance performances by groups each morning and evening, offered in devotion to the gods and goddesses.
