13th Annual Get-together of the School Children who are assisted by AEDU-UK programme, Took placed at St.Anthony's School at Muthur
AEDU-UK team - Dr..Amirthalingam Baheerathanan, Mr.Easan Somasundram & their team consist of Mr.Mavai So Thankarajah from Germany & Srilanka Cordinator Mr Varathan visited Trincomalee along with Trincomalee Coordinator Dr.Gunalan & Mr.Antony Raveendran (Asst.Director - Education), met the School Children about 100 and their Parents.who are assisted by this Programme. Each students is getting Rs.3,000/=. Monthly.
Trincomalee Coordinator Dr.Gunalan welcomed all of them & explained to the Beneficiaries about how to use this assistance to improve their studies.
Srilanka Cordinator Mr Varathan, Mr.Mavai So Thankarajah & Dr.A.Baheerathan explained the Students & Parents about the importance of Education.
Most of these children are from the rural & low-income group families, we made them to understand that only EDUCATION can uplift from their present situation.
We noticed there are much improvement in their studies & give us a HOPE that what we spent is not wasted. We are very confidence that, our initial input will definitely will show best results in future.,
