The West Coast, north and west from Auckland city contains many jewels of nature.  this land is the home of two unique spiritual centres: Satyavan and Tapovan.

Tapovan is still in development.  Satyavan is a spiritual community, which is located at KarekareBeach on Auckland’s west coast. It is a place that has grown out of the love and grace of SathyaSai Baba,  who has been the inspiration, the guide and the guardian.  Savitri temple is a place of worship, prayer and silence dedicted to the light and love of Sri Sathya Sai Baba and His universal teaching of the oneness of all people and all religions.  This temple is for all to use, whatever faith or path, in the spirit of unity.

Satyavan and the Temple have been visited for many years  by spiritual groups. Many spiritual activities have occurred here including meditation, ritual worship of the deities, devotional singing and chanting and satsang (teachings and discussions).  Satyavan is dedicated to the universality of all peoples and embraces the reality of the unity that connects us all. 

Available for up to eight people, from time to time,  in retreat cottages or cabins, for those who wish to live in an environment that is conducive to spiritual practice and peaceful living.  Pihabeach is very near to this place. It’s a number one sightseeing place in Auckland.   Those who wants to visit temple or beach they can visit either of these place after.
