Temple History : On 2nd February, 2002, a group of like minded devotees of Sri Shirdi SaiBaba met, discussed and decided to form a Sansthan. The immediate goal of Sansthan was to establish a temple for Baba in Auckland which would assist in spreading the wonderful life and teachings of Shri Baba. By His grace and with his blessings, Shri Shirdi Saibaba Sansthan Of New Zealand Incorporated was established on 4th June 2002. The vision of the Sansthan is to make people become aware of Shri Shirdi SaiBaba, his life and his teachings so that devotees and their family can mould their activities in such a way to attain satisfaction and total fulfilment and make their life meaningful. The primary objectives of the Sansthan are: To regularly conduct weekly satsangs including through bhajans, Sai japam, pravachans and meditation every Thursday at a place to be owned by the Sansthan. These activities are being currently held at Mt Roskill War Memorial Hall, 13 May Road, Mt. Roskill, Auckland. To build, operate and maintain Shri Shirdi SaiBaba’s Temple in Auckland.Presently we own freehold of land an area 2366 sq mts at 11 Brick St, Henderson. Auckland.
