Vethathiri Maharishi Yoga College, affiliated with Tamil Nadu Physical Education and Sports University, Chennai, is inviting applications for its various yoga degree programmes.

About the College:
Founded by Vethathiri Maharishi, the World Community Service Center (WCSC) was established in 1958 with the mission of achieving world peace through individual peace. To fulfil this vision, he formulated a simplified Kundalini Yoga practice and promoted 'Manavalakalai Yoga' — a system integrating physical, mental, and spiritual development.

Tamil Nadu's first dedicated Yoga College was launched by WCSC in 2017 to promote holistic health covering physical, mental, emotional, socio-economic, and spiritual well-being.

Courses Offered:
B.Sc. Yoga for Human Excellence — 3 years
M.Sc. Yoga for Human Excellence — 2 years
Ph.D. Yoga for Human Excellence — 3 to 5 years

Eligibility:
B.Sc.: Pass in 12th Standard
M.Sc.: Any undergraduate degree
Ph.D.: Master's degree in Yoga

Curriculum Highlights:
Courses include Human Anatomy and Physiology, Patanjali Yoga Sutras, Fundamentals of Yoga, Body and Mind Yoga, Traditional Yoga Practices, Modern Yoga, Yogic Diet, Health and Social Welfare, Nature Cure Methods, Yogic Therapies, Traditional Indian Medical Systems, and Global Social Living.
