Delhi: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced the commencement of applications for the Central University Entrance Test for Postgraduate Programs (CUET-PG) 2025.

This entrance test is a crucial gateway for students seeking admission to master's degree programs in central universities and other participating institutions across the country.

Separate from the undergraduate entrance test (CUET-UG), CUET-PG is designed for students aspiring to pursue postgraduate studies in the academic year 2025-26.

The application process is now live, with the last date to apply set for February 1, 2025.

The CUET-PG exam facilitates admissions to a wide array of educational institutions, including central universities, state universities, private universities, autonomous colleges, and other participating institutions.

Eligible candidates must possess a bachelor's degree in the relevant field or an equivalent qualification as per University Grants Commission (UGC) guidelines.

Students currently in the final year of their undergraduate programs are also eligible to apply.

This computer-based exam offers a selection of 157 subjects, allowing candidates to apply for up to four papers. Conducted in English and Hindi, the exam comprises 75 questions to be completed within 90 minutes. Each correct answer carries four marks, while a penalty of one mark is applied for each incorrect response.

Scheduled to take place from March 13 to March 31, 2025, the exam will be held in 285 cities across India and 27 international locations. Applicants can choose up to four preferred cities as their examination centers, although the final allocation will be determined by the NTA.
