Chennai: Anna University is set to introduce a three-year Bachelor of Vocation (BVoC) course in Augmented Reality and Virtual Reality at College of Engineering, Guindy, starting in 2024-25.
It will be the third BVoC course after logistics management and footwear manufacturing introduced last year.
The syllabus, designed in collaboration with industry experts, emphasizes practical skills and communication.
Admission will be based on class XII marks, with 30 seats available. The program targets students interested in computer science, offering industry internships for practical experience.
The university plans to expand BVoC courses to other colleges. Additionally, it aims to address under-enrollment in postgraduate courses by restructuring programs based on demand.
