Puducherry: Bharatiyar University is set to hold the aptitude test for admission to its Performing Arts and Fine Arts programs on the 22nd.

Annapoorani, the Principal-in-Charge, Bharatiyar University, announced that, " The aptitude test will take place at Bharatiyar University, Arianguppam on the 22nd at 10:30 AM. Candidates are required to report to the Principal's office by 9:00 AM.

The candidates' performance scores in the aptitude test for BBA, Music, and Dance will be evaluated. Admission will be based on these scores, the Plus 2 (or equivalent) pass marks from CENTAC, and their college marks.

Applicants for the Bachelor of Fine Arts (B.F.A.) program can choose from four specializations: Painting, Sculpture, Applied Arts, and Design.

Candidates applying for the Bachelor of Performing Arts (B.P.A.) in Music must select one of the following six specializations: Vocals, Veena, Violin, Mridangam, Thavil, and Nadaswaram.

For those applying for the Bachelor of Dance in Performing Arts, Bharatanatyam will be the main subject", informed Annapoorani.
