With registrations now open for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET), Tamil Nadu Central University has announced that students can opt for any subject in higher education, regardless of their Plus Two stream.

CUET serves as the gateway for admission into undergraduate and postgraduate programs at central universities and their affiliated colleges across India. Conducted annually by the National Testing Agency (NTA), the CUET 2025-26 examination is scheduled to take place from May 8 to June 1.

Aspiring candidates can submit their applications online at https://cuet.nta.nic.in by March 22, with the deadline for fee payment set for March 23. Any corrections to applications can be made between March 24 and 26.

This year, key changes have been introduced to CUET regulations. Students can now choose to take the exam in any subject of their choice, irrespective of their previous academic background. Additionally, each applicant can opt for up to five subjects.
