Centurion University celebrates 12th convocation

Bhubaneswar: Centurion University hosted its Twelfth Convocation, conferring degrees to 2,738 students from the 2024 batch and 138 from previous batches, including 47 doctorates.
The event celebrated academic achievements, with 19 gold medalists and 49 merit awardees among the 1,699 attendees.
Hon'ble Governor of Odisha, Raghubar Das, presided over the event.
Chief Guest Justice Sandeep Mehta, Supreme Court Judge, joined Guests of Honour Dr. Sreedhar Panicker Somanath, ISRO Chairman, and Shri Rajesh Aggarwal, IAS, Secretary, Department of Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities.
Dr. Somanath urged graduates to innovate and leverage technology for societal progress, while Vice-Chancellor Dr. Supriya Pattanayak reaffirmed the University's commitment to sustainable development and inclusive education.
The convocation highlighted Centurion University's role in empowering underrepresented communities through innovative programs, reinforcing its dedication to excellence, talent development, and inclusivity in higher education.
