Chennai: The CSIR-Structural Engineering Research Centre (CSIR-SERC), Chennai, has inked a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with NTPC Limited, New Delhi, to foster collaborative projects.

The MoU was signed by Dr. N. Anandavalli, Director, CSIR-SERC, and K. Nagesh, AGM & HOD (Station Engineering), NTPC Limited, at a formal event at CSIR-SERC.

The partnership builds on a three-decade-long association between the organizations. Dr. Anandavalli emphasized CSIR-SERC's contributions to research, consultancy services, and technology development. She highlighted the center's legacy, infrastructure, and recent projects during her address.

Nagesh acknowledged CSIR-SERC's expertise and its potential to support NTPC's initiatives. Senior officials from both organizations attended the event, reinforcing the commitment to leveraging shared expertise for impactful projects.

This MoU is expected to strengthen industry-academic collaboration and drive advancements in structural engineering research and applications.
