Chennai: The Central Education Department has instructed the Tamil Nadu government to display photos of teachers working in both government and private schools on their respective notice boards.

Although the directive to post teachers' photographs on school notice boards was previously issued by the central education department, the Tamil Nadu government has yet to fully implement this order.

During a recent meeting, officials from the Tamil Nadu school education department approached the central government for funds to support the integrated education scheme. In response, the Central Education Department reiterated the need to adhere to various guidelines, including the directive to display teachers' photos.

The purpose of this guideline is to ensure that students and parents can easily identify and recognize the teachers working in their schools.
