Puducherry: The Puducherry government is set to issue a notification to conduct competitive examinations for various government posts for which applications have already been received.

The government plans to fill 10,500 vacancies across different departments. Announcements to fill these positions have been made periodically.

So far, the government has committed to filling 2,300 posts.

However, applications for these positions were received two years ago, and the competitive examinations have yet to be conducted due to various delays.

Currently, the Administrative Reforms Department is reviewing the pending applications. It has now been decided to proceed with the competitive examinations for these posts soon.

The Department of Administrative Reforms will release the examination schedule shortly.
