FICCI summit focuses on digitized HR system

Chennai: The FICCI Tamil Nadu State Council HR Summit 2024, themed "Redefining HR - The Power of People," commenced with Mr. Kumar Jayant advocating for digitized HR systems to maintain workforce relevance. He stressed capacity building and retention strategies to combat attrition in a competitive business landscape.
Noting post-COVID trends, he highlighted the rise of hybrid workplaces and emphasized technology's role in productivity tracking.
Mr. Oleg Avdeev, Guest of Honour, discussed Russia's labor market post-pandemic, noting positive strides despite global challenges.
He praised HR's role in worker retention and commended FICCI's summit for fostering HR innovation.
Dr. G V Selvam, Vice President, VIT, underscored the strategic importance of HR, particularly in leveraging AI for workforce management and upskilling. He advocated for employee retention and emphasized HR's role in enhancing organizational value.
Mr. N R Mani, Convenor of FICCI TN HR Panel, highlighted the event's focus on HR excellence and innovation amidst evolving workforce dynamics.
The summit featured panel discussions on AI's impact on HR leadership, effective staff augmentation, HR digitization, technology-enabled services, workplace diversity, and CEOs' expectations from HR.
